Notes From Squid:

I made this artwork based on my favorite cozy comforter. I absolutely adored its bright and lively colors, so I decided to transfer those vibes onto a canvas and give it my own artistic twist. I was genuinely amazed at how awesome it turned out, especially considering how effortlessly it came together. That's why I named it "Shallow Surprise." It hung in my bedroom for almost a year before a customer spotted it and wanted to buy it. Even though it's been sold, whenever I think about this piece, it reminds me to be proud of what I create and that beauty doesn't always have to be hard to achieve. It's totally okay to believe in myself and my artistic skills.
