Notes From Squid:

I initially started this painting a long time ago, but as time went on, frustration and disinterest took over, leading me to abandon it completely. 

However, after a couple of years, I returned to it with a fresh perspective and a newfound inspiration. I felt compelled to rescue this painting from its state of mediocrity. It was as if I became a knight in shining armor for this artwork, determined to breathe new life into it. With a white horse of creativity, I embarked on a journey to give this piece a magnificent transformation.

In my mind, I envisioned adorning it with strong silver armor and bold, contrasting colors that exude confidence and carry a touch of modernity. Throughout the process, a whimsical vision of a knight in shining armor striking a "dap" stance kept playing in my head (if you're unfamiliar with the "dap" stance, feel free to Google it). This amusing image served as the inspiration behind the title of this painting: "Knights who Dap." It captures the fusion of strength, attitude, and a playful spirit.
